This company is one of the best train service provider of the south east England, which came into existence in the April 2006 after becoming the franchisee of IKF. This company was a replacement of the publicly owned company south eastern trains and is a subsidiary of London and South Eastern Railway (LSER). It operates high speed trains to all the major destinations of the south east and is known to provide the world class services to the passengers. This company possesses three brands namely Mainline, Metro and High speed. This company is often referred as (SET)
south eastern trains due to similarity in the name with the SET which was replaced by it. This operator serves all the major stations such as Victoria, Cannon street and St Pancreas and about 70 percent of its total service is for London.

This company is one of the largest train operators of the Europe and it employs more than 3000 people. The company serves around 179 stations and operates around 2000 trains in a day. On an average around 40000 passengers travels with the company in a day and around 1400 trains out of total services travel to and from London. This company is the first one to start the high speed domestic trains service in the Europe.

- Main lines- this brand of south-eastern trains are consisted of mainly class 375 electro star and class 465/9 trains. This service operates for Kent and also connects the major towns such as Maidstone, Ramsgate, Chatham and Dover with central London.
- Metro- this is one of the major brands of the south eastern trains as it connects all the major stations of the south east and south London. The fleet of this brand is comprised of class 466 and class 465 trains.
- High speed- this was a newly introduced brand of the company which operates high-speed services between Ashford international and London St Pancras. The fleet of this brand is consisted of class395 and class373/1 trains and this fleet is capable of delivering the service at the speed of 300 to 230 km/h.
